Step-by-Step Setup Process

1. Streamyard Setup (15 minutes)

  1. Go to streamyard.com
  2. Sign up for a free account
  3. Click “Destinations” in the dashboard
  4. Connect your Facebook account first
    • Select your Facebook page as the destination
    • Grant necessary permissions
  5. Add additional platforms through Streamyard:
    • X (Twitter)
    • YouTube
    • Others as needed

2. Stream Settings (10 minutes)

  1. In Streamyard dashboard, click “Create Broadcast”
  2. Select “Live Stream” option
  3. Configure basic settings:
    • Title: Make it descriptive and engaging
    • Description: Include relevant information
    • Privacy settings: Public
    • Choose connected destinations
  4. Studio setup:
    • Check camera and microphone
    • Add your branding (logo, colors)
    • Prepare layouts for solo and guest appearances

3. Guest Management (5 minutes)

  1. Create a guest invitation link:
    • Click “Invite” in Streamyard studio
    • Copy the private link
  2. Send to guests in advance
  3. Instruct guests to:
    • Use Chrome browser
    • Test their audio/video beforehand
    • Join 5-10 minutes before going live

4. Pre-Stream Checklist (5 minutes)

  • Test audio levels
  • Check internet connection (minimum 5Mbps upload)

  • Put phone on silent

5. Going Live Process (2 minutes)

  1. Enter Streamyard studio
  2. Add any planned overlays or graphics
  3. Click “Enter Broadcast Studio”
  4. Wait for guests to join
